Demonstration Projects

This portfolio is a collection of speculative, real-world project management case studies developed using actual locations, real company projects, and publicly available information. Each project represents how I would manage the work if I were the assigned Project or Program Manager, from initiation through closing, using industry-standard methodologies, cost assumptions, risk analysis, scheduling practices, and compliance requirements specific to the project type and region.

These case studies offer an in-depth look into my thought process, decision-making style, and execution strategies across different industries. They demonstrate not only what I would do, but how I think, how I plan, and how I ensure successful delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. These case studies are not presented as past employment projects. They are intentional, hypothetical exercises designed to show how I approach real projects with real data using my project management expertise, Six Sigma foundations, and proven frameworks.

Memorial Health University Medical Center Unions Springs Project Management Plan

Union Springs Road in Clyo, Georgia is an important corridor for residents, school transportation, agriculture, and emergency services. Over the years it has experienced pavement deterioration, shoulder erosion, and drainage issues that now impact safety, mobility, and long-term roadway performance.

The Union Springs Road Resurfacing & Infrastructure Renewal Initiative is a focused, data-driven improvement project designed to restore roadway integrity, improve drainage and shoulder stability, and enhance safety through full compliance with GDOT specifications, MUTCD traffic control standards, OSHA safety requirements, and state environmental regulations. The project is scheduled for completion within 45 days, delivering a smoother, safer roadway and extending pavement life by 12-15 years.

Memorial Health University Medical Center (MHUMC) in Savannah, GA is a 612-bed regional tertiary center, Level I Trauma Center, and part of HCA Healthcare. Currently, MHUMC is experiencing severe Emergency Department (ED) congestion, prolonged wait times, extensive boarding, and throughput delays that negatively impact patient outcomes, staff morale, and organizational performance.

This is a comprehensive, multi-phase improvement project. The goal is to reduce ED wait times and boarding by 20-30% within 180 days using targeted, data-driven interventions that improve patient flow, increase inpatient bed turnover efficiency, and optimize communication across the continuum of care.

This plan is intentionally built to fit directly into how Memorial already documents, orders, and manages patient flow today. It is fully designed to operate on the hospital's existing technology infrastructure, including the current EPIC EMR/EMH system.
